Required characteristics of flowers suitable for the garden

Note that when buying a suitable flower for the garden, you should be aware of the features of the flower and make sure you can provide the necessary conditions for those flowers. The most important factors for growing flowers in your garden are:

1)     Proper fertilization is usually annual, but some flowers need regular fertilization to grow.

2)     Irrigation of plants in cold seasons should be reduced.

3)     Suitable garden flowers are usually resistant to drought and heat.

4)     The soil used for garden plants should be in good condition so that plants can feed on it.

5)     Suitable garden flowers usually need regular watering.

6)     Garden flowers usually bloom from late June to late autumn so you would not need to worry if it is going to flower or not at other times.

what will you need for planting flowers?

1)     A hand trowel to dig small holes. I have a normal hand trowel and it so far has met all my needs.

2)     Seeds of the plants you would like

3)     A pair of gloves to prevent any harm or injuries. As I mentioned before in best gardening hand tools , I use Ronix pair of gloves and I think that is enough and doing its best.

4)     A water sprayer to water your plant after you have planted them. You can use a simple sprayer or the gardening ones. If you need to buy one, check out my watering sprayers

5)     Appropriate soil which is different from one plant to the other. You can either buy ready ones available in the market or just do it yourself. I would always go for the second one because it has worked better for me. With every plant that I have introduced, I have also mentioned the needed soil, you can easily mix them and prepare your own soil.

6)     Suitable fertilizer, remember that using the inappropriate fertilizer wouldn’t help your plant and it might even harm your plant.

Flowers suitable for the garden

rose

One of the most common flowers planted in home gardens is rose. If you are interested in taking care of roses, note that most species of this flower need enough light and need about 5 to 6 hours of sunlight during the day.

In addition, note that these flowers germinate annually in three seasons: spring, summer and autumn, and therefore you should water them regularly so that you can grow beautifully and fill your house with a wonderful and fresh smell. Note that the type of fertilizer required for these flowers is also the type of leaf soil and usually the best time to plant them is after the cold season.

How to plant roses in the garden

The method of planting roses in the garden is very simple, just be careful that there is enough space between the plants; This reduces the prevalence of insects and diseases among them. Usually, 60 cm of space is required between standard roses, and if your roses are smaller, this space will be less. Just place the roots in the soil and the plant should be 2 to 4 cm below the edge of the pot. Add the right soil to the pot. Use a tablespoon of organic matter such as compost, mushroom compost or garden compost. Some gardeners add a tablespoon of moss (to retain moisture) and a tablespoon of bone fertilizer (containing nitrogen and phosphorus). Adding polymer pollen (available in florists and greenhouses) to the water retainer can absorb moisture and release it as the soil dries. Nourish it every week as the plant grows. Use liquid fish manure or make tea compost (mix a handful of compost or manure compost with a gallon of water).

Jasmine flower is another flower that you can plant in your home garden because of its pleasant smell. Jasmine flowers are available in different colors such as white, yellow and purple as well as blue. They can be stored in the garden or even apartments.
